Sodium oxymethylene sulfoxylate structure

I had been using homemade detergent (Fels or Ivory, washing soda and Borax) for the last couple of years. I grew up with Tide but now can’t handle the strong smell from it. I recently switched to Ecos (from Costco) because I was tired of having to use the food processor to get the soap ground up fine enough (our washer was leaving chunks if it was just grated) – I haven’t researched the ingredients though. Doing the homemade would make an absolute mess as well since the fine powder dust would “erupt” every time I mixed it. I was wondering about build up from it as well… I actually have all the ingredients on hand for your recipe. I might give it a try. My little ones (4 of them, 7 and under) could do their own laundry for the most part b/c the powder was easy enough to scoop out, but liquid not so much (especially with such a big jug to deal with!).
